Glen Mast

Glen Eldon Mast, 90, of State Center passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Villa Del Sol in Marshalltown. Funeral services for Glen will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 (note date) at 2:00 p.m. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Glen and his family. Glen Mast was born on July 7, 1924 in Grundy County, Iowa to John Henry and Mary Allgood Mast. Glen was educated in the Conrad school district. Glen was previously employed with Richie and also as a police officer of State Center and Marshall county sheriffs deputy. Glen loved to fish, play bingo and was a member of the Moose. Glen also enjoyed gardening and planting flowers and tomatoes. Glen is survived by his daughter Melidy (Reginald) Martin of Union. Grandchildren: Bryce, Paul and Morgan. Great-grandchildren: Saryah, Caleb and Leyton. Sisters: Isla, June, Lola and brothers Lynn and Dale. Glen is preceded in death by his parents John and Mary. Children: Richard, Randy and Glenda and his siblings: Gale, Lloyd, Dean, John, Earl and Fern.
