Gloria Church

Gloria Jermain Church, 90, of Marshalltown, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Grandview Heights Rehab and Healthcare in Marshalltown. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Gloria and her family. Gloria was born on March 24, 1924 to Harry and Lillian Hall in Montana. She went on to cosmetology school and worked for Merle Norman as a cosmetologist. Gloria loved to travel, go to the Irish festival in Davenport, give kisses, do hair and make-up, loved her vodka and water but above everything else, enjoyed time with friends and family. Left to cherish her memory is her grandchildren: Sarah (John) Whitehead of Marshalltown and Leah Kirby of New Jersey and numerous great grandchildren. Gloria is preceded in death by her husband Mike Church, both parents, her sons; William and Keith Kirby and her brothers.
