Gordon Kent Warren 73, of State Center died at home on June 6, 2011.Per his wishes cremation rights have been accorded, there will be no formal service at this time. Phone 641-844-1234.Gordon Kent Warren was born in Clemons, Iowa on December 6, 1937 he was the son of Gordon Edson and Florence Collett (Beyers) Warren. Kent attended school in the area of his birth.He served our country honorably in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. Kent was united in marriage to Ronda Long on December 18, 1992 in Marshalltown; they divorced after 17 years of marriage. Kent had worked at Arbies Feeds in Marshalltown and then drove a truck on local routes and later over the road across the country. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and always enjoyed the flowers in other peoples yards.Left to cherish Kents memory is his ex-wife friend and care taker, Ronda, step-daughter Valerie(Todd) Reisetter of Marshalltown, grandchildren; Chris Long, Cassie Eastwood, and Kaylinn( Myles) Reisetter and great-grandchildren ; Huston, Mariah, and Brayden Eastwood, Kents brother Keith(Rita) Warren of Lauraville, Georgia.In heaven Kent rejoins his parents, Gordon and Florence.
