Harold D. Aringdale

Harold Aringdale, 77, of the Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, formerly of Chalres City and Marathon, Iowa, died early Sunday morning, November 25th, at the IVH where he has resided since 1979.Harold was born on April 27th, 1930, in Mitchell, South Dakota, and served our country honorably in the United STates Army in the Korean War. He received his honorable discharge as a Sargeant. Mr. Aringdale was a member of the Lutheran faith and the VFW.Survivors include his daughter, Rita Aringdale of Prescott, AZ and son Randy Aringdale of Charles City.Services are pending at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for local arrangements. Burial will be in the Marathon Cemetery at Marathon, Iowa.
