Harold Luse

Harold Luse 86, passed away at Central Iowa Healthcare with his loving family by his side. A graveside service will be held on Saturday February 20, 2016 at 1:00p.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown. Memorials may be directed towards the family. Harold proudly served his county as a member of the US Army. On June 15, 1951 Harold married the love of his life Kathleen Ryner in Laurel Iowa and they made their home in Marshalltown. Harold worked at Hy Vee in the produce area for over 30 years. Harolds family was his pride and joy. Nothing made him happier than getting to spend time with his ever growing family. Harold was an avid collector of toy tractors and antique toys in general. On Harold was a proud member of the V.F.W., and the PM Kiwanis. Left to cherish his memory is his children: Gene (Cindy) Luse of Kellogg, Randy Luse of Marshalltown and Billy Luse of Laurel, Grandchildren: Dena Bailey of Marshalltown, Dan Luse of Marshalltown, Brian Luse of Iowa City, Jennifer (Shawn) Anderson of Haverhill and Mindy (Shane) Brown of Anamosa, six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a brother Mike Scadden of Boulder Colorado. In death Harold joins is wife, Kathleen, his mother Ruby and many other family members.
