Harold "Tom" Underhill

Harold “Tom” Thomas Underhill, 78, of Marshalltown, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown.

Harold “Tom” Underhill was born on December 28, 1943 in Americus, Indiana to Edward and Ruth (Fawley) Underhill. Tom was united in marriage to Sheryl Prusha on September 25, 1998 in Marshalltown. He had worked for two different foundries and most recently was a bus monitor for the Marshalltown Public Schools. Tom enjoyed bass fishing and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Purdue Boilermakers and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Tom is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sheryl. Children: Steve (Jill), Jack, Mary, David, Kerri (Jesse), Sarah (Troy) and Rick. He is also survived by his siblings: Duane M. (Denise) Underhill, Dennis (Vicki) Underhill, Sandy Anderson and Carol (Larry) Adams; sister-in-law: Cathy Underhill and Jeannie Underhill along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Edward Leroy Underhill, Vernon Lee Underhill, Robert Dean Underhill, Leonard Dale Underhill, Steven Underhill, Phyllis Jean (Merle) Ridout, Marlene (Jack) Baker, Juanita (Jim) Rhodes, Shirley (Keith) Johns and Patsy Underhill.
