Harry Strong

Harry Strong, 82, of Rocklin, California passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015, at Roseville Care Center in California. Graveside services will be on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Methodist Cemetery in Laurel, Iowa. Mitchell Family Funeral Home in charge of his local arrangements. Phone 641-844-1234. Harry was born on July 15, 1933, near Garden Grove, Iowa; he was the son of Kendall and Lois Strong. He was a graduate from Iowa State University and was a Major in the United States Air Force. He was last stationed at the McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, California. He enjoyed traveling, bowling; stamp collecting, coin collecting, genealogy and landscaping. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Gloria (Mark) Sever, sister, Sylvia (Dick) Turpin and nieces and nephews. In death Harry rejoins his wife, Nellie Ingraham in 1974 and wife, Lillian Noma in 2015. Graveside Service: Laurel Methodist Cemetery 2:00p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015
