Hazel Irene Bonham, 95 of Liscomb passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Westbrook Acres in Gladbrook. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. til 7:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family requests that everyone dress casual. Memorials may be directed to the family. Hazel was born on April 4, 1919 in Marshall County to Floyd and Ruth Murty Kelley. She was united in marriage to Harold Bonham in 1956 at Little bit of Heaven in Davenport. They resided together in Liscomb. Hazel enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking and especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Linda (Dave) Callahan. Grandchildren: Eric (Shanna) Callahan and Jennifer (Mike) Fouts. Great grandchildren: Gavin, Robert, Breana, Austin, Sadie, Caitlyn and Cameron. Great great grandchildren: Dayton and Shaylee. Siblings: Norma (Wayne) Sommers, Lilian Sommers and Marilyn Rudy and two very special friends; Linda Burke and Emily Northam. Hazel is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Hazel is preceded in death by her husband Harold, parents and brothers Bill Kelley and Richard Wayne Kelley and a sister Opal who died in infancy.
