Heather Renee Levis (aka Sugar) was born November 23, 1977, in Marengo, Iowa. She was the daughter of Richard Earl Snook and Mary (Wohlert) Brandt. Heather received her associate’s degree from Marshalltown Community College. She worked as an accountant for many years at several organizations. She later went on to work for Midwest Heritage Bank as a customer service specialist for two years. On July 29, 2023, she married her husband Adam D. Levis in Centerville, Iowa. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time at the lake surrounded by her family and friends. Her family was her world. She also liked to read a lot. Heather loved all animals, especially her five dogs, two goats, and many chickens. The butterfly was her spirit animal, which is a beautiful way for family and friends to remember her in the time to come.

She is survived by her husband Adam D. Levis, her children; Ashton Damisch (Chelsea Damisch), Acelyn Henze (Jeffry Henze), Emma Poffenberger, Jay Danner (Alyssa Danner), Deven Levis, and Ayden Levis; her grandchildren Baby Henze (to be born on 1/6/2025) and Amelia Danner, who would lovingly know her as their “Gigi”, her brother Tony Snook and her mother Mary (Wohlert) Brandt.

Heather is preceded in death by her father Richard Snook, her brother Steve Snook, and her son Keegan Levis.
