Helen Wedgwood Allen, 97, Escanaba, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Bishop Noa Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown. There will be no Visitation. She was born on May 17, 1917, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Kearns) Wedgwood. Helen graduated from Marshalltown High School. Helen was employed as the deputy city assessor for Marshalltown, Iowa. She enjoyed flower gardening. Helen was married to Kenneth William Eubank and after his passing she married Kenneth Allen. Among survivors include her son, Roger Eubank of Escanaba; three grandchildren, Kenneth W. Eubank, Donna L. Orzel, and Douglas A. Eubank; five great grandchildren; brothers, Delos Sanborn Wedgwood and Dale Wedgwood; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Kenneth William Eubank and Frank Allen, Sisters: Ruth, Alice, and Dorothy, Brothers: Wayne, Ralph, Carl, Earl and a brother in infancy James. Private services were held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Chris Johnson of Christ the King Lutheran Church officiating in Michigan.
