Henry “Hank” Lloyd Reyerson Jr., 90, of Marshalltown, passed
away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at his home and under the
care of the Iowa River Hospice Home.

Henry Lloyd Reyerson, Jr. was born on September 9, 1933 in
Northwood, Iowa. He was the son of Henry and Palma
(Bendickson) Reyerson. On November 26, 1955, Hank was
united in marriage to Alvina “Vi” Nielsen in Virginia,
Minnesota. Hank served his country proudly in the United
States Army from 1956 until 1958, stationed in Frankfurt,
Germany. He was a self-employed truck driver. Hank was a
member of the Antique Tractor Pullers Association. He enjoyed
antique tractors (John Deere was his favorite) and competing in
tractor pulls and parades. Hank also enjoyed collecting license
plates, watching NASCAR, and all things antique.
Hank is survived by his wife of 68 years: Vi; children: Colleen
Reyerson of Atlanta, Georgia; Rod (Tenie) Reyerson of
Marshalltown; Cindy (Mark) Lutes of Woodstock, Georgia;
David (Kristi) Reyerson of Ankeny; Diane (Aaron) Warren of
Woodstock, Georgia; Jack (Dawn) Berner of St Paul, Minnesota; son-in-law: Lloyd Fisher of Marshalltown.
Grandchildren: Sheena (Jason), Calee (Dylan), Melissa (Cory),
Stephanie (Dave), Gabby (Matt), Emma, Ryan, Katy; step-
grandsons: Jackson and Nick, and great-grandson: Rowan.
Hank is also survived by his brother: Bob Larsen and brother-in-
law: Pete (Vanna) Nielsen and several nieces and nephews.
Hank is preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Palma;
siblings: Jane, Marjorie, Leroy, Duane, Judean, Lorraine, Herb,
Curtis, Pearl and Dean; and father and mother-in-law: Alvin and
Bernice Nielsen.
