Ian Aiken

Ian Richard Aiken, 32, of Whitten rejoined his mother in a heavenly state. Cremation rites will be performed staying true to Ians wishes. Memorial services will be at the Whitten Church on Friday November 4th, 2016 at 3 pm and after the service all are welcome to join the family at the Whitten Bar to celebrate his life. Tim and Lori (Vinton) Aiken were blessed with Ian on April 11, 1984, in Marshalltown, Iowa. Ian made his childhood home in Whitten; attending the BCLUW School System and graduating with the class of 2002. Ian was employed at Tri Rinse in Ackley, Iowa as a shift manager. In September 14, 2009, married Jennifer Drummer. The two would raise three children together in their home in Whitten. Ian loved fish in every way. He enjoyed fish in an aquarium, stream, or even on the grill as an avid fisherman would hope for. Ian was a Chicago Bears, and Cubs fan with more enjoyment then disappointment when it came to cheering his teams on. In his free time Ian was a volunteer fire-fighter for the town of Whitten, and loved attending church in Whitten every Sunday. Left to cherish Ians memory are his wife of 6 years Jennifer, children, Derek, Lillian, and Taylor, and his father, Tim and in-laws, John and Dee Drummer and Jeanne and Gary Fields . In death Ian rejoins his mother, Lori, grandfather, Guy, and Uncle Jerry and infant son, Wesley.
