Ila Temple

Ila Delila Brown Alloway Temple was born February 12, 1933 in Dickens, Nebraska to Violet and Rex Brown. Ila was preceded in death by her mother and father, Frank Alloway her first husband, Gerald Temple her second husband, Rex Alloway her son, and Linda McClure her daughter. Ila lived most of her life in Iowa and Colorado raising her 7 children Rex Alloway, Connie Navarette, Sandra Mitchell, Linda McClure, Gary Alloway, Laurie Smith, and Michael Temple. Ila was a loving stepmother to Patty Jones, Linda Temple, Madonna Svaglic, and Jerry Gene Temple. Ila was a passionate believer in Jesus Christ and lived her life devoted to raising her children and 70 plus grand and great grandchildren with love and compassion unmatched. Her unconditional love and joyful spirit impacted countless people along with the magnificent quilts she created, for which she will always be remembered. Services will be held Sunday, March 26th, 2017 at 4:30 PM, Calvary Baptist Church 1021 S. 12th Ave, Marshalltown, Iowa.
