Ilda Moser

Ilda G. Moser, 90, of Marshalltown, died at Southridge Nursing Home on April 16, 2008. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Ilda and her family. Ph. 641-844-1234. Born on January 22, 1918 at Marietta, Iowa, she was the daughter of Floyd and Laura (Langdon) Mooney. In 1954 she was married to Merle C. Moser and they resided in Marshalltown. Mr. Moser died on May 12, 1975. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a brother and sister. For 23 years she was employed in the offices at Lennox Industries from which she retired in 1980. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by 2 nephews: John (Betty) Bryant and Terry (Kathy) Bryant; and great nieces and nephews: Manon, Jason, Stephanie, Nicole and Michael.
