Jack "Scott" Knight

Jack “Scott” Knight, 46, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022. A celebration of life for Scott will take place on Friday, September 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Scott was born on December 7, 1975 in Grenada Hills, California and graduated from high school in Riverside, California. He relocated to Iowa in the mid-nineties, where he first worked at Burke in Nevada. Scott started his electrical career at Zoske Electric in Alden before working many years as an electrician at Kurrent Electric in Ames and then most recently, at Iowa Central Electric in Maxwell. Scott was an avid fisherman his whole life and a master of the grill. He was always the life of the party and didn’t know a stranger. He was incredible with kids and had a great sense of humor. More than anything else, he loved spending time with his friends and family and was an amazing father. Left to cherish his memory is his fiancée Lisa Turnbull; children: Logan Knight of Sand Point, ID, Josie Knight, Ramkell Turnbull and Annabel Turnbull; his sister Tammy (Bo) Hansen; three brothers: James Knight, Danny (McKayla) Knight and Eric Knight; father-figure John Draper; aunt Priscilla Platt and several nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved so much. Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne (Rumont) Baughman and his grandparents.
