Jacqueline Louise "Jackie" Wallace

Jacqueline “Jackie” L. Wallace, age 92, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Accura HealthCare of Marshalltown.

Per the wishes of Jackie and her family, cremation rites will be accorded. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, August 14 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Parish: St. Henry Catholic Church in Marshalltown. Jackie will be laid to rest at the Albion Cemetery. Jacqueline Louise Wallace was born March 6, 1932, in Mason City, Iowa. She was the daughter of Clarence and Rose (Grabenbauer) Stanton. On June 22, 1948, she married the love of her life, Elmer Edger Wallace and together they called Marshalltown home. Jackie showed deep devotion and love for her family by taking care of their needs as a stay-at-home wife and mother. One could always find her with a coffee mug in her hand. Jackie enjoyed camping with her family, and especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved making crafts and repurposing many different items.

Jackie is survived by her children: Linnette (Bruce) Tuttle, David Wallace and Jeff Wallace; her siblings: Donna Hoing, Jerry Stanton and Linda Theisen; her grandchildren: Justin (Angie) Tuttle, Sara (Justin) Tuttle Dunblazier, Chantel (Brandon) Muttart, Nikki Wallace, Shawn (Randy) Wallace Meyers, Misty Wallace Chaplin, Dustin Wallace, Jamie Wallace and Roy (Crystal) Weatherly; 19 great-grandchildren; her beloved rat terrier, “Sadie,” and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Elmer; her children: Lana and Don; her father Clarence, mother Rose and stepfather Clyde Newland; and her siblings: Frank Sr. and Ed Stanton.
