James Edward Eash, 59, of Marshalltown, died, March 1, 2008 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinic in Iowa City. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with cremation rites to follow. He was educated in the area of his birth.James resided in Marshalltown and enjoyed fishing and gambling, and watching NASCAR Left to cherish his memory are his long-time companion, Sharon Warner; son, Timothy William Eash of Marshalltown; god children: Tammy and Joshua; siblings: Esther, Butch, Dennis, and Ted. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Fred and Geraldine.
