James Richard Lewis, 51, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on March 13, 2014 at the Iowa River Hospice Home located in Marshalltown, Iowa. Born James Richard Lewis, on August 25, 1962, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Ronald Sr. and Gladys (Stanley) Lewis. James was united in marriage to the love of his life Ronda Sieck on November 19, 2011 at the Mesquaki Casino in Tama County. He was a hard working self-employed man doing many different jobs which included pallets and hauling scrap metal. James had a passion for fishing, making pallets and spending time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Ronda Lewis; children: Joseph Perkins, Cody Varnum, Melinda Otten, Eric Lewis, Michael and Andrew Hammer; two sisters and one brother; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter Mary Lewis.
