James Dennis Orr, 73, of Marshalltown, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Graveside services for Jim will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown. James Orr was born on September 13, 1947 in Marshalltown to Vernon and Lillian Olsen Orr. Jim graduated from Marshalltown High School. Jim served his country honorably in the United States Army. On July 25, 1974, Jim was united in marriage to Donna Levis. She passed away in 2017. He then was married to Ricky Bridges. Jim had previously worked as a janitor at the Iowa Veterans Home as well as a taxi driver. He was also an avid sports fan. Jim is survived by his wife, Ricky and her family. and brother, Bill Orr. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna; parents, Vernon and Lillian and brother, Tom Orr.
