James Allan Schwartz, 63, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.Memorial Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Iowa Veterans Home Chapel. (Sielaff) Schwartz of Buckeye and graduated from Alden High School. He attended Iowa State University and served 3 years in the Army and then graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. He was a pilot and flight instructor and lived in Richmond for 36 years; James has lived at the Iowa Veterans home in Marshalltown for the past 6 years.James is survived by his sister, Sandra (Charles Harry) Callaway of Grundy Center, a niece Jana (Paul) Bollmeier of Whitten and a nephew Jason (Becky) Callaway and family of Anamosa, Iowa.He was preceded in death by his parents; Marion G, and Esther B. and a brother; Gary.
