Jamie Giannetto, 35, of Le Grand, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Van Diest Medical Center in Webster City, Iowa, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013, at the funeral home in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was the daughter of Marvin Jim and Barbara (Groff) Slusher. Jamie attended school in the Marshalltown School District, graduating with the class of 1997, She attended school at the Marshalltown Community College in Marshalltown, Iowa. On November 3, 2007, Jamie was united in marriage to A.J. Giannetto at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Marshalltown. A.J. and Jamie and their family made their home in LeGrand, Iowa. Jamie loved her family and spending time with her children was at the top of list each day. She also enjoyed shopping and crafting. Left to cherish her memory is her husband A.J. of LeGrand, Iowa. Children: Jarret Michael (14), Gabrielle Renae (10), Savannah ((7), and Madysen (5). Mother, Barbara Weuve of Montezuma, Iowa; father, Marvin (Nancy) Slusher of Blue Spings, Missouri; sister, Adriane (Alfy) New of Independence, Missouri; nephews, Cody and Jackson; in-laws, Randy (Julie) Giannetto of Marshalltown, Iowa; sister-in-law, Angie Giannetto of Marshalltown, Iowa; step-siblings, Chelsea and Noah Protsman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. In death Jamie rejoins her grandmothers: Lillian Slusher and Betty Smith.
