Jane Bloomquist

Jane Bloomquist, 51, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away early Friday morning, November 14, 2014, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown, Iowa, surrounded by her loving family. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Jane Anne Witt was born on November 10, 1963, in Hampton, Iowa. She was the daughter of William and Beverly (Abbas) Witt. Jane attended school in the Ackley School District and graduated with the class of 1982, and furthered her education at the University of Iowa (Go Hawks). She was united in marriage to Robert Bloomquist and two children were born into this union. They later divorced. She was a resident of Marshalltown and was a loving, stay at home mom. She loved the Hawkeyes, especially Football; enjoyed singing and her dogs, but most of all, she loved her sons and families and the grandbabies always had a special place in her heart. Left to cherish Janes memory are her children: Nathan (Lindsey Heinrichs) Bloomquist of Ames, Iowa, and Joshua (Hope) Bloomquist of Marshalltown, Iowa .Grandchildren: Noah and Owen; her father, William (Vilma) Witt of North Liberty, Iowa; Brother, Todd (Elizabeth) Witt of Fayetteville, Arkansas; niece, Ashton, and nephew, Marshall In death Jane rejoins her mother, Beverly (2009)
