Jane Kline

Jane Kline, 51, of State Center, died early Tuesday morning, September 18th, at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 21st, at St. Josephs Catholic Church in State Center with Fr. Rick Dagit officiating. She will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m. in the Calvary Cemetery at Brooklyn, Iowa. Friends may call at the church from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. rosary service. Born on November 10th, 1955, at the Grinnell Regional Hospital, she was one of eleven children born to William and Marcena Kline. She was raised in Brooklyn and graduated from the BGM High Schools Class of 1974. She later graduated from the DMACC with her RN degree. At the time of her death, she was the Director of Nursing at the Westbrook Acres in Gladbrook. She was a member of the St. Josephs Catholic Church in State Center and the American Nurses Association. Left to celebrate her life are her children: Nicholas Kline of State Center; Michelle (Robert) Vrba of Des Moines; Kristian (Theresa) Kline of Rincon, Georgia and their daughter Emma; and Danielle Kline of State Center; her mother Marcena of Brooklyn, and her siblings: Joe (Sandy) Kline of Monticello, IL.; Dr. John Kline of Strawberry Point; Mike (Kim) Kline of Stanhope; Tom Kline of Ames; Susan Kline of Iowa City; Cathy McConnell of Johnston; Linda (Tom) Law of West Burlington; Barbie (Bob) Parker of Brooklyn; Lorry (David) McClenathan of Victor; and Ed (Diana) Kline of Brooklyn; and many nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends. In death she has rejoined her father, William.
