Janet K. Robbins

Janet K. Robbins, age 66, of Ferguson, Iowa passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at her home.

As per Janet and her family’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. No formal services have been scheduled at this time. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. Janet Kay Robbins was born November 26, 1958, in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was the daughter of Clifford and Sharon (Ankrum) Robbins. Janet attended school in Marshalltown and graduated with the class of 1977. After graduation Janet soon joined the workforce and held various positions. Janet worked as a waitress at the Country Kitchen restaurant and then transferred to M.I.W. where she drove a forklift for the next 20 years. In 2023 she retired from T.P.I Composites at the age of 65. In her free time, Janet enjoyed puzzles, gambling, camping, and riding bicycles.

She is survived by her two daughters: Andrea (Kellen) Simmons of Sublet, KS and Stayce (Horacio Shadden) Robbins of Ferguson, IA; her four grandchildren: Brooks Simmons, Eli Simmons, Dayton Hafner, and Farrah Hafner; her siblings: Jerry “JR” (Pam) Robbins of Kentucky and Julie Robbins of Marshalltown; her niece Amber (Scott) Mills and nephew Tony Krough.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents: Clifford and Sharon; her brother Michael Robbins; and her dog Maggie.
