Janis Vircks

Janis Vircks 69 Born Janis Kay Tressler on November 4, 1946 in Marshalltown, IA to Mary and Maury Tressler. Graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1964 and studied art at the University of Iowa. Owner of Growing Accents interior plantscaping and design business. She was Past President of 20th Century club and on the boards of the YMCA, Live On Stage- Marshalltown and other community organizations. Loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survived by husband Dr. Bruce Vircks of Marshalltown , Laura Vircks of Waverly, IA, Dr. Regan (Jeff) Pyle and granddaughters Nora and Gillian Pyle of Chesterfield, MIssouri, sister Diana Tressler of Virginia Beach, VA and nephew Jeff Kooser of Pella, IA. She taught us all to love and laugh. There will be no services at this time. There will be a celebration of Janiss life planned for the spring.
