Jared R. Hill, 32, of Marshalltown, died early Wednesday morning, October 14th, at the MMSC Emergency Room. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 19th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Cluts of Elim Lutheran Church officiating. On May 1st, 2006, he was united in marriage to April Dansby in Marshalltown. He was employed at Whiteys Heating and Cooling and was also known as Haud the professional bass player for the band Illtrip. He enjoyed comedy and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Left to cherish his memory are his wife April, three children Nina, Zada and Kane Hill, parents Scott and Debra Settle of Portland, TX, his sister Heather (Jimmy) Gentry, nephews Christopher and Matthew; grandparents Don (Phyllis) Settle of rural Melbourne, Arlene (John) Bell of rural Melbourne, his in-laws Jim and Helen Dansby of Marshalltown, his best friend Adan Turnbull who was more his brother, and many, many friends. In death he has rejoined his grandparents Henry and Virginia Jackson and uncle Larry Nessen.
