Jason Bracy

Jason Ray Bracy, 41, of Liscomb, died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, September 25th, 2019. Cremation rites have been accorded and the family will be having their own memorial service for friends and family at the American Legion, 1301 South 6th Street in Marshalltown, on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 1 PM to 3 PM. A memorial fundraiser link can be found by going to the Facebook page of Jason’s sister, Jessica Simmons. The family will have a private burial in Liscomb, Iowa. Born on May 12, 1978 in Iowa City, Jason was the son of Craig Bracy and Robyn Wise. He grew up in Liscomb and graduated from high school. He enjoyed working as a handyman – or as Jason often stated, “I’m a jack-of-all-trades”.  He worked mostly in general carpentry and roofing. He loved spending time outdoors in the sunshine and taking photos of the moon and earthly landscapes. Jason was an avid collector of small items – especially coins and knick-knacks.  In addition to his parents, survivors include his sister, Jessica Simmons and a nephew, Jacob Simmons. In everlasting life, Jason joins his stepfather, Rick Eubanks.
