Jason Tyler Buchanan, 22, of Marshalltown, died, February 28, 2008. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow in the hospitality room of the funeral home. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Jason and his family. Ph. 641-844-1234. Jason was born on February 5, 1986 in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Lisa Buchanan Butler. He was educated in the Marshalltown Community School District. Jason was employed as a roofer during his early teens, worked at Lennox, Swift & Company, and was currently employed at Allen Enterprises/Jets Inc. He was a member of the Union and local UAW. He enjoyed snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, fishing, and spending time with his son, girlfriend, friends and family. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jaiden Buchanan of Marshalltown; mother Lisa Buchanan Butler of Marshalltown; father Sean Tovar of Marshalltown; brother Kent Buchanan of Marshalltown and his step-children: Jadyn Hessenius and Corey Browder; Jaiden Buchanans mother Maliya Papiboune; girlfriend Elizabeth Browder; grandparents: Ann Buchanan of Marshalltown and Robert Buchanan of Marshalltown; 2 aunts: Angela (Victor) Gonzales and Kyla Forbes; uncle Enrique Reyes; great aunts and uncles, as well as many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents: Vincent and Madeline Corwin, Fred and Edith Buchanan, great-grandmother Lorrain Forbes and grandfather Steve Forbes.
