Jean Marie Mcdaniel

Jean Marie McDaniel, 87, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013, at home under the care of the Iowa River Hospice Home. Memorial services by the family are currently pending in Iron Mountain, Michigan with burial to follow. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family or to Alzheimers research. Jean Marie Wright was born on March 22, 1926 to William and Violet Detra Wright. In 1961; Jean was united in marriage to Jerome Jerry McDaniel in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jean loved to dance, play cards, read and was a pet lover. She especially loved her cats; Tasha, Blue Eyes and Guapo. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 52 years; Jerry. Children: James (Jan) Holiday, Sharon (Gene-O) Bailey, Mark (Maria) McDaniel, Rebecca (Doug) McDaniel and Allison McDaniel. Grandchildren: Missy, Rachael, Seth, Sandy, Steven, Lisa, Mark Jr. and Ryan and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Fern Wright and Arlene Jones and brother William Wright.
