Jeanne (Mrs. Stanley) Randall, 78, of Melbourne, died early Wednesday morning, February 28th, at her home in the care of her loving family and Iowa River Hospice. Her death came after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3rd, at the St. Josephs Parish in State Center with Fr. Rick Dagit officiating. She will be laid to rest in the St. Josephs Cemetery in Rhodes. Friends may call at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home West Marshall Chapel in State Center is entrusted with her arrangements. Ph. 483-2900. Jeanne was born January 7th, 1929 at the family home near Rhodes. Her parents were Thomas B. and Lauretta (Goodman) Malloy. Jeanne graduated from Rhodes High School in 1946 and Thompsons Beauty School in 1947. She married Stanley C. Randall on October 13th, 1947. She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in State Center, CCW, and the Melbourne American Legion Auxiliary. Jeanne operated a beauty shop in her home from 1966 until 2006. Her hobbies included spending time with family, oil painting, and playing cards. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Jeanne loved the simple life. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Stanley, and their children: Ben and his daughter Cassidy (Jeff) Simms; Randy (Kathy) and children, Seth, Jackie, Luke and Kaitlyn; Laurie (Garry) Kasal and children, Wade (Jacy) Buck, Walker Buck, Jeanna (Dustin) Eggers, Randall Kasal, Angie (Joe) Bunting, Renee (Adam) Maas; Matt (Julie) and children, Jake (Jen), Joel (Alyssa), and Morgan; Stan (Krissy) and son Ross; Todd (Nicole) and children Levi and Avery; 11 great-grandchildren. Jeanne is also survived by her sister Sue Worley and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her infant daughter Mary Beth and son Barry Conrad, her parents, her sisters, Maggie Riemenschneider, Grace Skinner, and Lorraine Malloy, and brothers Raymond and Leo Malloy.
