Jennie Annette, fondly known as Jeannette Babe Fensterbusch, 91, of Marshalltown, formerly of Rock Island and East Moline, died Saturday night, April 5th, at the home of her daughter while in care of the Iowa Hospice. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island, IL. She will be laid to rest in the Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Family and friends are invited to gather at her favorite restaurant, Happy Joes in Milan, IL, following the committal services. The family encourages memorial to be directed to Iowa Hospice, 2 West Main Street, Marshalltown, in lieu of flowers. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown is caring for Jeannette and her family. Ph 641-844-1234. Born on January 15th, 1917, in Rock Island, IL, she was the daughter of Anthony and Mary H. (Belouski) Henchon. She graduated from the Moline High School. On August 10th, 1945, she was united in marriage to Jack Fensterbusch in Moline, IL. They resided in Rock Island. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline, the International Chapter PEO Sisterhood, Rock Island Chapter of Kings Daughters, and the Trinity Lutheran Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. Fensterbusch enjoyed sewing and crafts of all kinds and treasured her family. She lived in East Moline before moving to Marshalltown, making her home at the Embers for 5 years and then the Villa del Sol before moving in with her daughter, Susan. Left to cherish her memory are her son Alan (Sue) Fensterbusch of Cape Coral, FL., daughter Susan Thomas of Marshalltown, grandchildren: Tana Thomas and Aleks Thomas of Marshalltown, Paige (Jamie) Miller of Cedar Falls, Drew Thomas of Cambridge, Mass., Nami Fujiyama (John) of Highland Ranch, CO and Elizabeth Fensterbusch, great-grandson Tyler, sister-in-law Barbara Fensterbusch and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends. In death she has rejoined her parents, her beloved Jack and sister, Evelyn Perry.
