Jeff Alexander

Jeff Alexander, 52, of Des Moines, formerly of Marshalltown, passed away November 21, at the Mercy Hospice Care Facility in Johnston, Iowa. Memorial services for Jeff will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Jeff was born August 1, 1959, the son of Leland and Donna Alexander. He was raised and educated in the Marshalltown area and graduated from the Marshalltown High School in 1977. He went on to attend classes at both Drake University and the University of Iowa. Jeff was recently employed as a computer programmer in Des Moines where he has lived for the last fourteen years. Jeff is survived by his brothers: Mark (Mary) Alexander of Marshalltown and Randy Alexander of northern Minnesota. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Leland and Donna Alexander.
