Jeff Heitland

Jeffrey Jeff Heitland, 51, of Marshalltown, died suddenly, Monday, May 30th, at the MMSC.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4th, at the New Hope Christian Church. He will be laid to rest in the Oakwood Cemetery in Ackley, IA. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com. Memorials may be directed to the family.Born Jeffrey Alan Heitland on July 8, 1959, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, he was the son of Wallace and Jennie Ann (Bulten) Heitland. He received his education in the Ackley-Geneva Schools. Jeff was employed at Raymond DONCO Air Products in Albion and also part-time at Younkers. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union, First Friends Church and New Hope Christian Church. Jeff enjoyed camping, the UNI Football games, Barbequing, and especially spending time with his children, his fianc Vickie, and step-children. He will be greatly missed by many.Left to cherish his memory are his children: Sarah Heitland and Erik Heitland of Marshalltown, his fianc Vickie Younkin of Marshalltown, step-children Cody (Michele Bills), Tatum, Emma and Sophie Younkin, step-grandchild Kael Younkin, parents Wallace and Jennie of Ackley, his siblings: Cindy (Bob) Burns of Iowa Falls, Jerald Heitland of Iowa Falls, Shawn (Amy) Heitland of Aplington and his soon-to-be mother-in-law Delores Keys of Marshalltown and in-laws Randy Keys, Jeff (Janine) Keys and Steve (Norma) Keys all of Marshalltown as well as many friends.In death, Jeff rejoined his grandparents and father-in-law to be, Stanford Keys.
