Jeffrey S. Stevens, 49, of Marshalltown, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospital.Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. He was the son of Gary Stevens and Sandra (Nelson) Osborn. He attended school in Conrad and Marshalltown. Jeff worked at the Tama Pack. He enjoyed woodburning, making jewelry, fishing, and camping. He was a mechanic and considered a jack-of-all-trades and master of none. He was a family man. Jeff is survived by his parents, Gary Stevens and Sandraand Gerald Osborn of Marshalltown; his companion, Phyllis Webb of Marshalltown; his children, Heather Stevens of Polk City, Chad Lavender of Huxley, Joshua Odom of Charles City, Jeremy Odom of Marshalltown, Christopher Odom of Marshalltown, and Spencer Odom of Charles City; his 9 grandchildren; his ex-wife, Pam Wilson; his sister, Robin (James) Visser; his brothers, Gary D. Stevens and Richard(Lora) Stevens; his step-sister, Angela(Larry) Shine; his step-brothers, Matthew Stevens and Joseph Stevens; and several nieces and nephews. In death, he has rejoined his grandparents, his niece, and his grandson, Lucas Allen.
