Jenise Wyatt- Sunrise 1/16/65 * Sunset 4/3/24

Jenise Maria Stunson- Gist was born Jan. 16, 1965 in Paducah, Kentucky to James and Ruth Stunson. She accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at 6th Street Baptist Church. She rededicated her life to Christ in 2018.

Her accomplishments include graduating from Tilghman High School, attending West, KY. College and later graduated from other higher education institutions.

She was a writer, worked as a customer rep, CNA, paralegal, veterans’ administration and worked for Soul Circus. She later married Michael Wyatt.

Left to cherish her memories; her daughter, Mrs. LaQuann Sacko, her son, Mr. Corey Greer Gist, her grandchildren: Kadence Jones, Ahjiana Hunter, Gaby Gist, and Ibrahim Sacko. Three sisters: Mrs. Willa Wilson PA/NC, Mrs. Sandra (Grant) Hughes- KY. and Mrs. Vanessa (James) Jordan- TN, uncles: Joash and Corneilius Wilkins, aunts: Mrs. Virgie Gooch- IA., Mrs. Yvonne (Lincoln) Woods-TN. and Ms. Sallie Mae Stunson- IL., her sister-in-law Cathy Gist- IA.,nieces, nephews, & cousins, former husband James Greer-MI and best friend Vem Veronica- GA.

Tribute:

Mom, we realize that everyone has a time to die but your death was so quick and unexpected. We will remember the good times and Forever Love You! LaQuann & Corey.

My sister Jenise was a writer who loved acting and drama. She was indeed a thespian. She replaced an actor on moment’s notice and improvised to a rousing standing ovation. I will remember her rededication to Christ and her ability to act among many memories.

Willa Gist Wilson

Her mother Ruth, her father James, her sisters Rose Cooper-Skinner and Janice Gist, her brother Ronnie Gist, and husband Michael Wyatt predeceased her.
