Jessica Morgan Cox

Jessica Morgan Cox, age 36, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Thursday February 8, 2024, at Mercy One Medical Center in Newton.

At this time cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a family-led Celebration of Life on Saturday February 17, 2024, starting at 10:00 A.M. at New Life Church located at 2101 S. Jessica was born on January 15, 1988, in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was the daughter of Ora and Mary Ann Williams. Jessica attended school in Marshalltown and graduated with the class of 2008. She soon joined the workforce, first at MIW of Marshalltown for four years followed by four years at Burger King. Jessica was a very happy person that loved children, music and dancing. She was a social butterfly that never knew a stranger. Jessica was outspoken and brave. She loved her family above all.

She is survived by her parents, Ora and Mary Ann; her biological sister, Adrianna (Brandon) Goken of Marshalltown and several adopted siblings.

Jessica is preceded in death by her biological mother, Nancy Carmer and her sister, Amy Williams.
