Jesus Landeros Anguiano

Jesus Landeros Anguiano, 75, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on the morning of May 27, 2020 at Unity Point Allen Memorial Hospital with his family at his side. Private funeral services for Jesus’s family will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish: St. Mary Catholic Church. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Due to new regulations from the Iowa Department of Public Health Visitations may be held with a 50% capacity and those in attendance are encouraged to wear face masks and practice social distancing. Landeros Anguiano was born January 23, 1945 to parents Carmen Landeros Nolasco and Salud Anguiano Ramirez in Magdelena de Araceo, Guanajuato, Mexico. He and his family grew up in the area together with Jesus being one of nine children born to Carmen and Salud. Jesus was united in marriage to Juana Garcia Alfaro and the two began a family of their own having four children. Jesus came to Iowa and began work at JBS as a meat packer in 1992. In 2002 the rest of Jesus’s family came to rejoin once again and call Marshalltown home. In his free time, Jesus enjoyed attending the masses at St. Mary Catholic Church, going fishing, and planting crops and garden vegetables at home. He would also enjoy frequent trips to the casinos hoping for that lucky win. He was a great family man and would often be at his daughter maria’s home and would fall asleep while watching the tv. He will be missed by not only his family but friends included. Left to remember and cherish his memory are his wife Juana Garcia de Landeros; his children Maria Guadelupe (Jose) Landeros Parra, Adriana (Quirino) Landeros Tellez, Jose Jesus (Maria) Landeros, and Maria (Edgar) Landeros Garcia; his grandchildren Carmen Parra, Joanna Parra, Juan Parra, Giovanni Tellez, Hzary Tellez, Arely Tellez, Montzerrat Landeros, Emiliano Landeros, Leonardo Garcia, and another on the way; his siblings Maria (Lorenzo) Landeros Mora, Antonio (Sara) Landeros, Josefina (Niceforo) Landeros Rico, Cecilia (Dolorez) Landeros Tapia, and Carmen Landeros. He was preceded in death by his parents Carmen and Salud; his grandson, Jesus Garcia; his brothers Tomas Landeros and Luis Landeros; and his sister, Socorro Landeros
