Jill Triplett, 64, of Marshalltown passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Iowa River Hospice House in Marshalltown, Iowa.Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Phone 641-844-1234.Jill Janine Triplett was born on June 25, 1947; she was the daughter of Thomas Martin and Meryle (Murray) Triplett. She attended school in the West Marshall School District graduating with the class of 1965. Jill then attended Methodist School of Nursing in Des Moines, Iowa. She had worked at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines for 19 years and Marshalltown Manor, her work was her life. She had been a member of TOPS. Jill enjoyed genealogy, word puzzles and loved animals, especially her cats.Left to cherish Jills memory is her brother; Jack Triplett of Birch Tree Missouri, her nieces and nephews; Teresa(Eric) Hutchens of Beaman, Iowa, Tom(Dena) Triplett of Marshalltown, Tim Triplett of Springdale Arkansas, Tina Walton of Waterloo and Jeff Plander and Paula Plander.In death Jill rejoins her parents and her sister-in- law Anna.
