Jill Anne (Wignall) Welch

Jill Anne (Wignall), age 52, of Marshalltown passed away Tuesday evening Oct 21st, 2025 at Iowa River Hospice House surrounded by her loving family and friends. Jill is survived by her husband Jeff and their two sons who she dearly loved Alex Welch of Des Moines and Keaton (Haley) Welch of Legrand and one granddaughter. She also leaves behind many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Jill was preceded in death by her parents Wm. Harley Wignall, Janice (Whitmore) Stonewall and her dad Roger Stonewall that raised her after his marriage to Janice and her best sister Angie Ford. In death she also joins her mother in law Linda Welch stepmother Caroline Wignall and her favorite brother in law Danny Clement.

Per Jill's wishes, cremation rites will take place. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, November 2nd, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. (PLEASE NOTE THE DATE) at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family to assist in expenses or to Iowa River Hospice.
