Joann Lynn Hoffpauir

JoAnn Hoffpauir, 57, of Marshalltown, went peacefully to be with her Lord, Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Following cremation, a celebration of JoAnns life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2012, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place at a later date. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for JoAnn and her family. JoAnn was born March 9, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Phillip R. and Phyllis J. (Klipp) Smith. She was raised and educated in the Central City, Iowa area. Throughout her lifetime JoAnn served over twenty-three years at the Iowa Veterans Home as an LPN. JoAnn enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her yard with her flowers. JoAnn was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. JoAnn is survived by her children; Travis Hoffpauir of Des Moines, Michael (Amber) Hoffpauir of Marshalltown and April (Tony) Winters of Iowa Falls, her father Phillip R. Smith of Central City, Iowa, her mother Phyllis J. Smith of Central City, Iowa, her sister MaryAnn Dickinson of Blakesburg, Iowa, her niece; Erica JoAnn Dickinson of Charleston, South Carolina, her grandsons; Noah Barbieri and Clayton Hoffpauir and her granddaughters Mia Hoffpauir and Nevaeh Winters.
