JoAnn Hutcheson, 80, of Keller, TX, formerly of Marshalltown, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Keller Oaks Healthcare Center in Keller, TX. JoAnn’s graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29th at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Public visitation will be held at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home beginning at 12:00 noon on Thursday until the 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to her family for their later designations. Born on April 23, 1941, in Marshalltown, Clemma JoAnn Sleege was the daughter of Russell and Lela (Swanson) Sleege. She grew up in Marshalltown and graduated from the Marshalltown High School. On May 30, 1962 she was united in marriage to Ronald Hutcheson. In addition to being a loving and devoted wife and mother, JoAnn had been employed as an electronics assembler at Fisher Controls, as a lay-a-way clerk at Walmart, a catalogue associate at JC Penney and sold Avon products. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, needlepoint and shopping. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Lisa (Jerry) Morris and Michael (Nila) Hutcheson; her grandchildren: Tyler and Justin Lansink and Derek and Dylan Hutcheson; her brother, Gary (Dorothy) Sleege and her sister, Marlene Taylor. In eternal life, JoAnn joins her parents Russell and Lela Sleege.
