Jodean Beeghly, 60, of Conrad, Iowa passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Mary Greeley Hospital. Funeral services for Jodean will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Hand officiating. Public visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home where her family will be present to greet friends. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Jodean and her family. Jodean Kay Beeghly was born on January 15, 1956, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Charles Edwin and Margie (Mears) Elliott. She graduated from BCL high school. On October 27, 1974, Jodean married the love of her life, Larry Beeghly in Liscomb, Iowa. From this union two children were born: Erin and Tully. Jodean was a hardworking woman, dedicating her life to raising hogs on the family farm since 1984. She had a passion for birdwatching, going out to eat, attending church, playing her piano, gardening, her flower beds, mushroom hunting in her secret spots, and most importantly was spending time with her family. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Charles and Margie; her husband, Larry; children: Erin Lee Beeghly, of Sidney, Ohio and Tully Carl Beeghly of Liscomb, Iowa; grandchildren: Tessa Nicole Rose and William Henry Rose of Sidney, Ohio and Emma Kay Beeghly of Liscomb, Iowa; sister, Leanne (Scott) Miller of Union, Iowa and 34 nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Genevieve (James) Macy, Oz Mears, Carl and Ada (Gorsuch) Elliott; uncles, Robert Elliott and Richard Elliott and one aunt, Vesta Marie Elliott.
