Mr. Joseph Biggi, 85, of the Glenwood Place in Marshalltown , formerly of Pueblo , Colorado , died Thursday morning, October 9th, at the Glenwood Place while in their care, his loving family and the Iowa Hospice. Funeral services and burial will be in Pueblo , Colorado . There will be no local visitation or services; however, friends may leave condolences at www.mitchellfh.com. Born on March 24, 1923, in Pueblo , Colorado , he was the son of Albino and Mary (Dorazzio) Biggi-Lenzini.He attended School at Central High School in Pueblo and later served our country honorably in the United States Army during WWII. On July 19th, 1947, he was united in marriage to his loving wife, Geraldine in Pueblo . They made their home in Pueblo where he was employed at CF& I Steel Mill for 45 years. He was a member of the local bowling league and enjoyed gardening, bowling, baseball and many activities with his family. He has made Marshalltown his home the past5 yearsto be near his daughter and her family. Left to cherish his memory is his daughterDeb (Dr. Brad) Lister of Marshalltown, son Bill (Jan) Biggi of Littleton, Colorado, grandchildren: Nathan and Andrea Biggi and Zach Lister, sisters EmmaKaduncand EileneVersteeg,sister-in-law Anna Marie Fognani,many nieces and nephews and a host of friends and neighbors at Glenwood Place. In death he has rejoined his parents, step-father Joseph Lenzini,beloved wife Geraldine, siblings Mike Lenzini, Ann Stanko, and brother-in-law Victor Fognani.
