John Callahan

John Callahan, age 81, of the Accura Healthcare in Marshalltown, passed away Saturday morning, May 25th.

Graveside committal services were held Thursday, May 30th, at the Center School Cemetery. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for John. Ph. 641-844-1234.

John was born in Peosta, Iowa, on December 6th, 1942. In his later years, he was loved and cared for by nursing homes in Polk City, Washington, Dubuque and Marshalltown. Family does not only mean by blood, so he had very large families at these places. Though he could not verbalize his history in life, we will credit him with loving others and trusting God.

There are no known survivors. He was preceded in death by his parents and others known but to God and John.
