John W. Morse, 48, of Liscomb, died early Friday morning, January 3rd, at the Eldora Nursing and Rehab Center. A memorial gathering and celebration complete with barbeque, memories and perhaps even blowing stuff up will be held on Memorial Day weekend this year at his acreage. Born John William Morse on November 16th, 1965, in Iowa City, Iowa, he was one of four children born to Charles Donald and Sara Lou (Chinburg) Morse. He attended school in Charles City and Cedar Falls. John was employed in many careers, but most would remember him as a devoted truck driver. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings- Tom Morse, Cathy DuVall and Donna Schwake as well as his nieces and nephews. In death, he rejoined his parents.
