John J. Stolka

John Stolka, 89, of Fayette, Iowa, died Saturday, May 24, at the Iowa Veterans Home where he has resided since October of 2006.Funeral services will be held in Fayette with burial in the St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. The Beckner-Milnes Funeral Home is handling arrangements for John. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for local arrangements.He was born on May 16th, 1919, in Rosedale Township, Minnesota, and was raised in the Catholic faith. He served our country honorably in the United States Army in WWII.Survivors include his daughters Georgene Schrage of Elgin, Iowa, and Leta Priebe of Wadena, Iowa.
