Norma Joleen Bryant 79, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013, in Lake Wales, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013, at the funeral home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family. Norma Joleen Foote was born on June 7, 1933, in State Center, Iowa. She was the daughter of Carl and Edith (Melberg) Foote. Joleen attended school in the State Center Community School District graduating with the class of 1951. On November 29, 1968, Joleen was united in marriage to Marion Bryant in Princeton, Missouri. They resided in Marshalltown, Iowa, their entire married lives. Joleen worked at Fisher Controls, Lennox Industries, The Penny Saver and The Iowa Veterans Home. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, and very much enjoyed wintering in Florida for the past 19 years. Joleen loved to read, bowl, golf, play bingo, and above all, she loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 44 years, Marion. Children: Ron (Colleen) Jones of Sandy, Utah; Leona(Walter) Huffaker, Marshalltown, Iowa; Julie Scheel (DeWayne Armstrong) of Ankeny, Iowa; Jacqueline(Mike) Adair of Clinton, Iowa; Jennifer Dodds (Marty Huntington) of Davenport, Iowa; Deb (Jerry) Jensen of Wayne, Nebraska; Gary (Judy) Bryant of Colo, Iowa; and David (Shin) Bryant of Crestview, Florida; 14, grandchildren: Carrie (Kenny) Selvog, Jon Huffaker, Randy Scheel, Donna Scheel, Sara (Rick) Hewitt, Phillip (Kari) Dodds, Aaron Dodds, William Dodds, Michelle (Dave) Bush, Chris (Kirstin) Dodds, Ted (Corina) Gould, Janice Bryant, Traci Kaufman, and John Bryant; and 12, great-grandchildren. Joleens siblings: Dan (Bev) Foote of Charleston, Illinois; Judy (Darrell) Dicken of Marion, Iowa; Carla (George) Stark of Reno, Nevada; Frank Foote; and brother-in-law, Gary Hartman. In death she rejoins her parents, Carl and Edith; sister, Myrtie Hartman; and infant son, James David; granddaughter, Kim Ericks; and son-in-law, Ray Scheel.
