Joleen Vajgrt, 59, of Marshalltown, died Monday, May 10, 2010, at Iowa River Hospice House.Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Albion Cemetery. She was the daughter of LaVerne and Maxine (Whitmore) Sinclair. She was raised just outside of Marshalltown until the family moved to Ferguson in 1961. Joleen graduated from LDF High School in 1970. On November 24, 1972, Joleen married Richard Vajgrt at Fellowship Baptist Church in Marshalltown. The couple had three great sonsJeff, Dustin, and Andy. Joleen worked at MMSC as a night nurses aide. She then worked for Community Nursing Service for three years.Left to mourn her loss are her husband, Richard, of Marshalltown; her three sons Jeff of Marshalltown, Dustin of Ames, and Andy (Megan) of Iowa City; her granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn Vajgrt, who was Grandmas great love; her parents LaVerne and Maxine Sinclair; her two sisters Sheryll (Jim) Friedrich of Montezuma, and Phyllis (Ralph) Stanley of Marshalltown; her sister-in-law Betty Vajgrt of Marshalltown; and seven wonderful nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and nephews.In death she has rejoined her grandparents, several aunts and uncles, her brother-in-law LaVerne Vajgrt, and her in-laws Andy and Catherine Vajgrt.
