Joseph Hart

Joseph Hart, age 65, of Marshalltown, passed away on Saturday, July 9th, at the Unitypoint Health Allen Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 16th, at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Friday at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. He graduated from the Marshalltown High School and received technical schooling throughout his working career. He was self-employed in carpentry and electrical work. Joe also enjoyed motorcycles, fishing and pinball machines. On February 1st, 1985, he was united in marriage to Julie Ann See. They made Marshalltown their home all of their married lives. Surviving are his son, Shawn (Jennifer) Hart of Marshalltown and their children Lillian and Preston, and many other family members. In death, Joe rejoined his parents, wife Julie and brother, Mike.
