Joseph Joe Woosley, 32, of Eldora, Iowa, died on the morning of Friday, May 6, 2016, from an automobile accident. Funeral services for Joe will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor John Whitehead officiating. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home where his family will be present to greet friends. In honor of Joe, the family asks that everyone please dress causal. He will be laid to rest at the Conrad Cemetery following services. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Joe and his family. Joseph Woosley was born on June 14, 1983, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Michael Ray and Connie Jo (Gibbs) Woosley. He was raised and educated in the Conrad School District graduating from BCLUW High School. Following high school, Joe attended Marshalltown Community College where he graduated with a carpentry degree. Joe was united in marriage to Whitney, they later divorced, but from this union two children were born: Logan and Holden Woosley. Joe was a hardworking man, and was blessed to work with his brother at Woosley Construction. He was a proud member of an adult softball league in Eldora. Joe had a passion for fishing, hunting, camping, Denver Broncos, Notre Dame, but most importantly was spending time with his family and two sons. Left to cherish his memory are his two sons: Logan and Holden Woosley; parents: Michael and Connie Woosley; siblings: Scott (Lisa) Woosley and Casey (Chris) Eis; paternal grandma: LaRue Woosley; maternal grandpa: Dale Gibbs; and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandpa: Ted Woosley; grandma: Charlene Gibbs and one niece: Averi Faye Eis.
